The "Workshop on New Approaches in Migration and Integration Policies," held at The Green Park Hotel on December 18, 2025, was successfully carried out as a comprehensive consultation platform where the current needs, structural problems, and policy development processes in the field of migration were addressed in a multidimensional manner.
As part of the workshop, in-depth assessments were made around five thematic roundtables with the contributions of academics, public representatives, civil society actors, and experts.
At these roundtables,
Migrant Statuses, Legal Situation, and Repatriation Procedures,
The Integration of Second-Generation Migrants in Türkiye and the Search for Necessary Models,
Migration and Communication Strategies: Perception, Media, and Public Opinion,
Migrant Policies with a Focus on Women and Children,
and Labor Force, Employment, and Working Life—under these headings, current practices and policy needs were addressed, and solution proposals were developed.
The assessments and proposals obtained during the workshop will be included in the summit's general report and shared with the relevant institutions and stakeholders.
In this respect, the work created an important basis of collective wisdom that contributes to the development of migration and integration policies. We thank everyone who contributed.
