Recep Seyyar, President of the Migration and Diaspora Foundation, held an important meeting with Bilal Türkiye, Chargé d'Affaires of the Embassy of the Syrian Republic in Qatar. The visit was arranged to strengthen relations between the two sides and to exchange information about the current situation in Syria.

At the meeting, the humanitarian crisis in Syria, the refugee situation, and the social dynamics in the region were discussed. President Seyyar, drawing attention to the importance of the aid and support Türkiye provides to the people in Syria, offered assessments of the steps the two countries could take together in this area.

Chargé d'Affaires Bilal Türkiye stated that the humanitarian aid Türkiye provides to Syria is critically important for the Syrian people. He also underlined that international cooperation toward resolving the situation in Syria should be increased.

The meeting demonstrated both sides' determination to closely follow developments in Syria, while emphasizing the importance of being in cooperation and solidarity. President Seyyar and Bilal Türkiye concluded the meeting by exchanging mutual messages of trust and support, expressing that they will be in closer cooperation in the future.
