The Migration and Diaspora Foundation came together with the International Development and Cooperation Association (UKİD) in Istanbul to exchange views on important matters. During the visit, a productive meeting was held with UKİD Chairman Zeki Çalışkan and honorary chairman Musa Serdar Çelebi on experiences in the field of migration and diaspora, opportunities for cooperation, and potential projects.

At the meeting, the latest developments in the Balkans and efforts directed at the Turkish diaspora in Europe were addressed. In this context, recommendations were evaluated for improving the cultural and social integration processes of diaspora communities in the countries where they reside and for protecting the rights of the Turkish community. Steps that could be taken toward developing joint projects and strengthening Türkiye's diasporic ties in the Balkans and Europe were also discussed.
