We have learned with deep sorrow of the passing of Mehmet Seyyar, the esteemed father of our Migration and Diaspora Foundation Chairman of the Board, Mr. Recep Seyyar.

The late Mehmet Seyyar made great contributions to mosque and foundation work throughout his life; he undertook important projects, particularly in the areas of social assistance and the religious education of young people, leaving behind a legacy that will be remembered with goodness.

We pray for God's mercy upon him, and we extend our condolences and wishes of patience to our esteemed Chairman, his family, and all his loved ones.

The funeral prayer will be performed on Friday, June 27, at the Central Mosque in Haznedar Neighborhood, Güngören, following the Friday prayer.

May our Lord treat the late Mehmet Seyyar with His mercy; may his abode be paradise and his station exalted.
