Recep Seyyar, President of the Migration and Diaspora Foundation, Vice President Barış Toprak Şahin, and Board Member Ahmet Güneş paid a courtesy visit to the Ambassador of Yemen to Türkiye, Muhammed Salih Turiq. During the visit, comprehensive consultations were held on current developments in Yemen and the future of relations between Türkiye and Yemen.

In the meeting, the humanitarian crisis in Yemen, the ongoing conflicts, and the aid Türkiye has provided during this process were discussed. While the importance of Türkiye's support for the Yemeni people was emphasized, views were exchanged on strengthening the historic ties between the two countries and developing areas of joint cooperation.

The Ambassador of Yemen, Muhammed Salih Turiq, stated that Türkiye's efforts to establish peace and stability in Yemen are commendable. The Migration and Diaspora Foundation delegation, for its part, expressed that they closely follow the difficulties experienced by the Yemeni people and that they will continue to cooperate in order to strengthen the bonds established through the diaspora.

The visit was regarded as an important step toward further advancing the political, economic and humanitarian relations between Türkiye and Yemen.
