28.11.2024

As the Migration and Diaspora Foundation, we visited the AK Party Headquarters in order to strengthen the ties of our diaspora community with the homeland and to pass on our civilizational codes and values to future generations. Present at our visit were our Foundation's Chairman of the Board, Recep Seyyar, and our board members Barış Toprak Şahin and Muhammed Özoğlu.

During the visit, we came together with AK Party Deputy Chairman Mr. Zafer Sırakaya. In the meeting, we held a productive conversation on the past, present, and future of our diaspora community, who live all around the world and pass on their love of Türkiye to their generations. We addressed how our community preserves its identity, its faith, and its attachment to its homeland with an understanding of "existing" and "living together."

As the Migration and Diaspora Foundation, we presented our "Türkiye Migration Mobility" report to Mr. Zafer Sırakaya. This important report addresses in detail Türkiye's critical position in migrant mobility and the steps that need to be taken in relations with the diaspora.

We thank Mr. Zafer Sırakaya for his valuable views and his hospitality.
