A delegation from the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) visited our foundation’s headquarters. The delegation included UNHCR Representative for Syria Kevin J. Allen, UNHCR Representative for Türkiye Angela Li Rosi, and Deputy Representative for Türkiye Daniela Cicchella.

During the meeting at our headquarters, temporary protection processes in Türkiye were reviewed. The parties also discussed Syria’s reconstruction and its implications for return movements, stressing the importance of ensuring that returns take place on a sustainable footing.

Another key item on the agenda was potential joint projects and cooperation opportunities in the field of migration. The parties exchanged views on sharing field experience and identifying shared areas of work.

Our foundation thanked the UNHCR delegation for their courteous visit and valuable consultations.
